No, I will not publish the 10,000 works that comprise this unique exhibition that adorns the wall of the Tokyo International Forum as one of the events during the World Congress of Architecture. But I will share some of these examples to give an idea of what is this about.
Here's the first part. Please click on the images to enlarge them.

UIA 2011 TOKYO. WORLD CONGRESS OF ARCHITECTURE
UIA TOKIO 2011. CONGRESO MUNDIAL DE ARQUITECTURA
ESPAÑOL
The 24th World Congress of Architecture by the International Union of Architects UIA was held in Tokyo, Japan, from September 26th to October 1st of this year, at the the Tokyo International Forum by Rafael Vinoly . The conference theme was Design 2050, although there has been a special emphasis on the tragic earthquake in Japan this year, with the sub-theme: "Beyond Disaster, through Solidarity, towards Sustainability."
Being the first time this event takes place in Japan, special solemnity was added to the opening ceremony with the presence of the Imperial couple.
The amount of information produced in this Congress has been huge, thanks to the many events, exhibitions lectures and the participation of thousands of professionals around the world. Therefore, during this month, I will do my best to share some of this important information.
These entries will be combined with a series of posts devoted to special landmarks of the world's largest metropolis: Tokyo. In that way the readers will have have an overview of the city's architectural evolution in the last 50 years, through metabolism, postmodernism and contemporary trends.
Additionally, I will use this post as general index of the event and therefore I will update it frequently.
